The Journey Home is now playing in select theatres in Toronto, Ottawa and Regina. In Winnipeg the film is playing at the Bandwidth Theatre daily September 4 - 10 at 7:30pm.
The Journey Home was shot in Churchill, Manitoba, Rankin Inlet, Nunavut and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario - at that time known as Midnight Sun. It stars Dakota Goyo (Real Steel) who finds a polar bear cub and sets out on a journey to return the cub to his mother. The film is directed by Roger Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies) and also stars Goran Visjnic (ER) and Bridget Moynahan (Blue Bloods).
