Fargo Season 3 Premieres April 19 on FX
We've got a date! The third installment of Fargo will premiere on Wednesday, April 19th on FX. Season 3 is set in 2010 and features Ewan McGregor (playing twin brothers), Carrie Coon, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and David Thewlis.

A Dog's Purpose - Solid Opening
"A Dog's Purpose" starring Dennis Quaid, Britt Robertson and Josh Gad opened to $18.4 million this weekend. The family movie is directed by Lasse Hallström and adapted from the novel by W. Bruce Cameron. Filmed in and around Brandon, Virden, Minnedosa and Winnipeg, Manitoba during summer of 2015.
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency
This summer, Kim Todd produced the first season of BBC America’s new series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Shot in British Columbia, the series is an adaptation of the novels by Douglas Adams and is written for the screen by Max Landis (American Ultra, Chronicle). Dirk Gently stars Samuel Barnett (Penny Dreadful, The History Boys) in the title role and Elijah Wood (Wilfred, The Lord of the Rings).
Channel Zero premieres
The first installment of the horror anthology series Channel Zero airs on Showcase in Canada and Syfy in the US. Filmed in Manitoba, Channel Zero: Candle Cove stars Paul Schneider and Fiona Shaw and centres on one man’s obsessive recollections of a mysterious children’s television program from the 1980s, and his ever-growing suspicions about the role it might have played in a series of nightmarish and deadly events from his childhood.
The Swap airs Oct. 7th on Disney Channel
Body-switching comedy The Swap starring Peyton List and Jacob Bertrand will air on Disney Channel Friday, October 7th in Canada and the US. Filmed in Toronto in Spring, 2016, The Swap is based on the book of the same name by Megan Shull. In The Swap Ellie O’Brien (played by Peyton List) is a rhythmic gymnast with a pending make or break competition and Jack Malloy (played by Jacob Bertrand) is the youngest son in a hockey family vying for a varsity spot on his school team.
18 Emmy nominations for Fargo!
The Emmy nominations are in and the second season of Fargo is up for 18, including Best Limited Series. Congratulations to all the cast and crew who received nominations and to the whole team who made a great show!
